Our kitchen takes enormous pride in their in house catering, with artisan dishes made & cooked to order with locally sourced produce. Dan Stewart & his team meticulously prepare cuisine from scratch using only the best local produce, Beef from the Wharfedale pastures, game from the local gamekeepers to name a few. The state of the art kitchen & in house cooking attracts some of the best chefs in the area and this can be plainly tasted. Our food is as well hand crafted as the cruck barn! With no artificial ingredients!
Staple favourites such as the famous Steak & Ale pie & Fish & Chips - cooked just like the chip shops do, are always available. While a glance down the menu board shows a huge range of artisan, technical & creative dishes that offer some great new flavours & ideas.

Again the creativity doesn’t stop here; with smoked Salmon & Chicken & pulled pork, pastrami among the homemade ingredients alongside local farm Yellisons’ Goats Cheese & house made fish fingers.

Weddings & Special Occasions
The expert team in the kitchen are well practised in catering for large events. One course or five courses, you can plan directly with our chefs your own bespoke event menu to your own taste or budget.
All our food is cooked to order, from fresh produce ordered in daily. With good flavour being our number 1 priority. The team are also very creative with presentation & make a simple dish into an art form. Couple this with a great setting & you have all the ingredients for a truly great food experience.

Outside the Kitchen, we grow as much of our own herbs as possible. In the bed, we have Sage, Chives, Thyme, Hops, a Bay Tree, Marjoram, Oregano, Lavender, Wild Rocket and many varieties of mint, including Chocolate. Yes Chocolate! If you ask the chefs, I’m sure they’d let you take a bit!
